History and Background
Data Cabling Service, Inc., now operating as Orion Integration Group – Data Cabling Division, is a commercial network cabling contractor. Founded in 1991, we are one of the first companies in the Treasure Valley focusing on structured cabling and low voltage solutions, design and installation. Since then, we have completed many fiber and copper low voltage cabling projects across the entire United States. Our structured cabling projects span multiple industries from agribusiness to wholesale distribution, retail, manufacturing, state, local, and federal governments, and private businesses. At Orion we understand the importance of a technology infrastructure that meets the client’s needs whether we are working directly with the end user or their contractor. Every client has different technology needs and concerns. Our ability to develop a scope as a “work in process” – that fulfills the client’s unique present and future network requirements – is what sets us apart from our competitors. Many cabling companies simply follow the plans and specifications given to them. Our background in network infrastructure and management gives us the unique ability to translate the specific IT technical requirements of the client into actionable, value-driven results.
